Angling

Day fishing permits, hours 08.00-Dusk, can be obtained at the Lakeside café at a discount rate as advertised.
Permits obtained on the bank side will attract a charge of £10 per rod.
One rod and line may be set up per permit; rods not in use must be dismantled.

Conditions:
No fishing during the hours of darkness.
No keep nets, or fish retaining methods allowed.
No fishing on the lane side of lake, off or near boating stage.
No casting near boats.
No barbed hooks.
No wading.
No foul language.
No match fishing.
Bait-transporters (electric only), allowed at discretion of management: At own risk and must not interfere with other persons' interests.

Pike fishing: Sea baits only.

All fish must be returned to the section of water from where they were caught.
Carp anglers must use unhooking mats at all times.
The hook link must be left free from all weights in the event of any line being severed.
Landing nets of a suitable type to be used at all times, i.e., 36" minimum size, micromesh style, having a wide base for carp and similar but smaller for general coarse.

Angling must have regard for the well being of the fish stocks as their highest priority in deciding/using methods of capture/handling, e.g., line rigs, weighing etc.

We reserve the right to withdraw any permits issued, for the benefit of all and happy fishing.
